Plucking Birds
I start at 9.AM on Saturdays' and will continue till all the birds are done, I can freeze them for you if you want but would like them picked up within 7 day's.
A lot of my customers will go to one of our local restaurants for breakfast and pick up their birds the same day, we have ice in our store so it would be best if you brought some coolers to take them home in.
On a good day I average about 100 chickens an hour (I get tired by noon so I think about 300 a day).
If there are a lot of birds scheduled I will butcher the smallest batches first, so check with me if you need to be here by 9.AM.
During the summer and Thanksgiving i get booked pretty full so be sure to call a few weeks ahead
I charge $3.00 per chicken and $0.50 per pound dressed on turkey's (20 pound turkey dressed is $10.00)
